Usability Study: Usability Test Results and Analysis Presentation Report-Craft Site Mock Re-design
For this assignment, I chose to conduct a usability study on a fictitious client, Craftsy. Here are the results of the usability test conducted for the assignment and the Usability Analysis presentation report. The report walks the client through the findings as it is through and specific providing informative feedback accompanied by sound recommendations. This narrative is incorporated in the report by way of screenshots and graphical pointers.
Use of Personas
After creating a persona and story from the previous week's assignment, Professor Kramer challenged the class by asking us to design the first 1/3 of a webpage. The goal of this assignment was to practice creating a website that conveys a message or a story in one second or less. This exercise forced the designer to emphasize the pertinent content. The message effectively eliminates unnecessary clutter or noise on the website.
